Information we collect from Google
When you sign in with Google, TCA Directory Search receives your email address, whether Google has verified it, and the
basic profile information Google returns with it (name and profile picture). It requests only the
openid and email scopes.
How we use it
- To check your email address against the list of approved users and allow or refuse access.
- To keep an access log of which approved account made each request and when, for security.
We do not use Google user data for advertising, do not sell it, and do not share it with anyone. TCA Directory Search's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Directory information
The directory itself is a private copy of information the school provides to its families. It is used only by the approved users for fellowship within the school community, is never published, and is never used for mailing lists, sales, or solicitation.
Storage and retention
Sign-in tokens are stored encrypted on a private server and expire automatically. Access logs are rotated automatically and capped at a few megabytes, so older entries are deleted. You can ask for your sign-in data to be deleted at any time.
